THE BACHELORETTE - Final Four
We're heading into the semi-finals, so to speak, of this season's The Bachelorette. This week DeAnna decided which four of the remaining six suitors would advance to the next stage, the highly anticipated hometown date. This meant of course that two guys were heading home with broken hearts: Sean (the martial artist from Kentucky) and Twilley (the wild man).
The remaining four suitors are Jason, Jeremy, Graham, and Jesse. They're all strong candidates, but DeAnna can pick only one. But who? She's clearly already made up her mind in real life, but if she needed help choosing I like to think that this handy guide to the final four guys would prove helpful. Let's break it on down:
Jason - The single dad from Seattle. Jason is like a fit, handsome version of Tom Hanks in Sleepless in Seattle, only his kid probably isn't as annoying as the kid in that movie. Jason and DeAnna have shared a real emotional connection - she opened up to him about her mother's death and Jason comforted her when she was upset after sending Robert and Fred home. They've kissed before, but DeAnna doesn't exactly swoon about the sexual chemistry between them. Next week she'll travel to the Northwest to meet his son and parents, but I have a hard time imagining that DeAnna will see herself as fitting into Jason's life. Unless she's 110% sprung on Jason, I don't think she'd risk hooking up with him when a kid's happiness is at stake - she doesn't want to leave Jason and his son heartbroken in the end. I'm a big fan of Jason's, but I think she's going to pick somebody that doesn't require such a lifestyle change on her part.
Graham - The dreamy basketball player. OK, clearly DeAnna is most attracted to Graham - she rarely fails to mention how hot she thinks he is, and has kept him around despite his stubborness and lack of emotional fluency. Graham has had the most passionate and stormy relationship with DeAnna, and the chemistry is clearly there, but I don't think she'll pick him either. She's been burned before by a Southern charmer who didn't know what he wanted, so she's right to be wary about him. I think she's been keeping him around because she is drawn by his ultimate hotness, but will realize that Graham isn't husband material and end up cutting him loose next episode. You know how in the teaser for next week's show we see her crying and talking to an unseen suitor? I'll bet that's Graham. She's going to send him home, but feel really bad about it and wonder if she's made the right call.
Jesse - The snowboarder. The dark horse candidate of the season, Jesse came from behind and impressed DeAnna with his open, adventurous personality and his sincerity. He's unlike any guy she's ever dated and she is drawn to him, but I don't think he'll make the final cut either. She's only really begun to feel attracted to Jesse this week after he displayed some mad ATV skills, and he didn't go in for the kiss during their poolside chat. I think he's too different and it's too late in the game for her to just start exploring her feelings for him. The guy had a chance this week to kiss her - she was even sort of leaning forward with a "kiss me" look on her face - but Jesse didn't read the signals or was too shy about kissing her in front of the other guys. I think DeAnna finds him fascinating and unique, but that's as far as it's going to go. Sadly, I think Jesse is heading for a big wipe out.
Jeremy - The real estate lawyer. This is the guy she's going to pick. DeAnna has described Jeremy as "the perfect guy" and has spent more time with him than any other guy on the show. She feels at ease with him and they seem to be similar personalities. Plus, she's a real estate agent and he's a real estate lawyer, so they have common professional interests. Relocating to Dallas wouldn't be such a huge step for her either. Jeremy is smart, competitive, gracious, open, and pays attention to her. He's caught some flak from the guys for always monopolizing DeAnna, but that just proves that Jeremy's priorities are in order. It's not a popularity contest and the only person who's opinion ultimately matters is DeAnna, so Jeremy is happy to play the part of the outside if it means he gets the girl in the end. Which he will.
So that's my prediction: she'll pick Jeremy. Don't get me wrong, I would like to see her pick Jason, but I don't think that's happening. In the end, it will come down to a face-off between Jason and Jeremy, but the outcome (at least in my mind) is clear. What do you think? Am I totally off-base here, or do you agree? I'd love to be wrong about this...

I think your right, she is going to pick Jeremy but I like Jason.

I agree with your assesment 100%.

I like Jeremy most!!

Yeah, I think you're right on the money. Which is too bad, because I don't really like Jeremy.
One thing, though--this seems too obvious--and prior Bachelors haven't always worked as planned. So maybe Jesse will win or something

I hope you are right! The only real choice would be Jeremy, not to say I don't adore Jason. If she is trully there to pick a life long partner, she would be crazy not to pick the "best all around" man Jeremy. If she picks the (easy on the eyes) Graham...I would second guess her true intentions.

WELL I THINK YOU ARE HALF RIGHT. DON`T COUNT YOUR CHICKENS BEFORE THEY HATCH. I THINK IT WILL BE DETERMINED BY THE HOME VISITS. LETS SEE HOW JASON`S SON DOES WHEN HE MEETS DEANNA AND HOW SHE REACTS TO HIM. WE ALL KNOW SHE LOVES CHILDREN AND THIS LITTLE GUY JUST MIGHT SWEAP HER OFF HER FEET. DEANNA AND JASON ALREADY HAVE A CONNECTION SO LETS JUST SEE WHAT HAPPENS.

Jeremy is phoney. Jason is the one. True, romantic, knows how to love, caring, passionate, etc., etc. DeAnna would be a fool not to choose Jason as her future husband, her future.

I agree with the comments above. Jeremy seems fake. I haven't liked him at all. Jason on the other hand, she'd be crazy to not pick him!! He's adorbale, and seems like an all around great guy.

I agree with you, but I really do not like Jeremy, he is too self-assured and full of himself. I really do love Jason and I hope DeAnna has chosen Jason and his lovely son Ty.

I think you're on the money but Jason would be the best choice ... is so everything !!!!

Jason seems to me the big the one she SHOULD pick. There is something there and you can look at this guy and know he always do his best for her. Jeremy is nice looking and seems to be the whole package, but there is something about that guy that has never felt right. I can't see him putting her before himself like you can Jason. I'm afraid this guy would do or say anything to win, to save face. Bad feelings from him/my feelings are usually on the money. Hope she chooses right. Jason step it up buddy!!!

I think that DeAnna is scared of commitment. I think that is the reason why she has Graham (skittish as a jackrabbit), Jesse (fun but no chemistry) and Jason (has a child and that means too risky to be wrong about). Every single man that was there for a real relationship she let go; claiming she didn't have a connection. She likes Jeremy but is completely terrified. I think losing her mother at a young age has something to do with it. Choosing a man that is steady as a rock, open with his emotions, and ready for a long term relationship makes her want to run. The feelings are so intense and close with the feelings she has for her mother. She can choose Graham and be with a man she has too constantly convince to stay or... she can take a chance at love. Take the plunge into a pool of emotions. Something I'm not sure she is really ready for. We shall see.

I have not liked Jeremy since day 1! He looks like he is just there for the attention. Totally FAKE!
Jason all the way!

I was so so disappointed that Deana kept Jessie and not Sean... Sean is a fine catch.
Sean should be picked for an upcoming Bachelor Show....

I think you are only half right. DeAnna is in it for true love and I think she going to fall head over hills with Jason. They are a perfect match when they are together and their personalities are very similar. Seems like she would be much happier with him than anyone else.

Jeremy seems like a nice guy, but he just doesn't see to have any personality- he's like a robot. He doesn't make her laugh, and he is always so quiet to the point of annoying. I think she made a big mistake keeping Graham- he is nothing but trouble and way too imature for what Dianna is looking for. Jason is great but the kid thing will work on her mind. In the end I think Jason will be the winner. Dianna seems like the kind of girl who will take any route even if it's more difficult. My pick- Jason

I adore Jason, and Jeremy seems fake to me. I also think that there is so much we don't see on air. For dramatic purposes the producers want us to assume things. This is why I still think Jason has a shot. I really can't see her with Graham or Jesse, although Jesse has grown on me. I think they are just friends. I will keep my fingers crossed for Jason. To me he seems the most sincere.

I think she needs to keep Graham. I think the feelings are there and they need to take time after the show to work on them. He isn't a player. They already fight like a married couple. I really hope he doesn't go next week. He wants her and only her. He already said he doesn't want to share.
I want her to make Graham the one. Oh I hope I am right.

Poor Jeremy ....he's gotten a bad wrap. Even Richard said he is one of the nicest guys there... Jason seems more like a therapist for her....he's too wimpy! Graham is stuck on himself too much to fall for anyone. Jesse...just a good buddy type. Jeremy is nice & been through alot losing both of his parents...you'd be shy too!

I really hope that DeAnna picks Jason. He is so cute, down to earth, caring, and so much more. I think that DeAnna is the type of girl that would choose something even if the edges were a little rough and that is why I think that she will pick Jason. There is something about Jeremy and Grahm that I just don't like. They are both sketchy. Plus, everytime DeAnna talks about Jason her face lights up!!! They would be adorable together and I think that DeAnna would be great with Ty :)

This is the 20th century. If women with children cannot find love and remarry, we should all still live in caves.
Yes Dave, for love’s sake, I hope you are wrong. Seattle is too good to pass up. Jason typifies a Northwest temperament. Steady, calm, cool and sweet. You should know that.
Posted by: Carol | June 17, 2008 at 02:07 PM
Graham is hot. If anything Graham has passion and turbulence.
Jeremy seems desperate and self absorbed. Imagine living with someone selfish.
Jesse needs to grow up.
Jason is sweet, a real gentleman and seems to be the real thing.
I hope DeAnna finds happiness and good luck Jason.

I really hope your prediction is not right, however, I can see her picking Jeremy. I don't think that he's fake. I just think he is very confident. However, I don't think he and DeAnna are a really good match. I think Jeremy is a really caring guy, but maybe too caring. In the end I think he is going to end up being too controlling for her if she picks him. On the other hand, I believe that Jason would treat her the best and make the best husband for her. He's not threatened by her individualism. He is mature and truly knows the important things in life (Ty). I think she has a really genuine heart and I believe that it is big enough for her to open up to both Jason and his son. But I guess we shall see. After all, we only know DeAnna and the rest of the men from what we've seen on TV...

Can't believe how I have gotten so wrapped up in this show! From the minute Jason came out of that limo, he is the one!- Hope Deanna realizes it too- Such a kind sensitive guy! And quite gorgeous to boot!- Who was it who said that Jeremy " was missing something" ?? and Twilley thought he was an inhuman robot? Wasn't it in the promo that Graham's mother tells D that her son hasn't been able to have a relationship any longer than 4 weeks? Not husband material or boyfriend for that matter-do not see any real physical connection going on with Jesse- Fun to hang out with but marriage material ? Hope Deanna chooses Jason- seems almost everyone here agrees- can't wait till next Monday-

Ps. Jason is NOT wimpy. No one can be wimpy and raise a son as well as it seems he has... much less raise a son without the child's mother.
