DANCING WITH THE STARS - Yamaguchi for the win
She's brought home the Gold and now she's bringing home the Mirror Ball.
Tonight Kristi Yamaguchi was crowned the champion of this season's Dancing with the Stars competition, a victory that seemed inevitable from the first time she hit the dance floor.
Week after week The Guchi and her partner Mark Ballas delivered one dazzling routine after the other, raking in the high judges' scores and crushing the morale of her competitors. Kristi was almost always at the top of the leaderboard. She scored the most points of any DWTS competitor, and in the final week she and Mark pulled off three perfect dances for a total of 90 out of 90 points. It just wouldn't have been right if she didn't win the competition - empirically speaking, she was the best dancer.
Some of you may be thinking that having Kristi Yamaguchi in the contest was not fair to begin with because she is a robot from the future.
I want to be clear: the contest was perfectly fair. Kristi Yamaguchi is not a robot from the future. She is not an advanced scout from a race of perfect androids who want to invade us with an army from the future.
Oh! Oh, you're thinking it's not fair because she was an ice skater? And not just an ice skater, but the best ice skater in the world? I have no comment.
Kidding! I kid. Yeah, you have to admit that being an ice skater gave Kristi an um, edge. But I think that argument minimizes Kristi's competition somewhat - Jason, Cristian, and Mario all seemed like worthy adversaries who were physically up to the challenge. Man, I still can't believe Mario didn't make the semi-finals, that wasn't right.
At the end of the day, the fact is that Kristi Yamaguchi owned Dancing with the Stars this season. She and Mark Ballas were totally entertaining and fun to watch, and that's enough for me.

I must say I enjoy this very special show every year and as a former ballroom dance instructor myself I think is was terrible that Khristy was allowed to compete. When you are the world champion on ice, you already know how to dance I trained to be competitive roller skater and we learned how to dance on skates, what's the difference.

I know Lynda Carter is going to be on dancing with the stars. But last wednesday, you had already heard not only we lose Isreal 'Chachao' Lopez 7 weeks later. But Kristi Yamaguchi, Figure Skater and now a dancer to Mark Ballas has won the trophy. We learned today that yamaguchi danced with mark and cristian will be on univision for the full story on his dance moves with telecast on sabado gigante. Don Fransisco has heard on the dance cristian de la fuente had did and hopes on live tv told to edtka swevinski that she loved the dancer she did after 10 big weeks. Although Jason loses his 10 weeks in the competition that tom said makes Samantha Harris on the dancefloor once again. I really like to see samantha harris dancing with six men in a dance sequence on this special summer show. Jason is departing from the program to join the football team. ut don't worry. He'll be back for a tour. I hope to see him on tv. Vanessa Carlton, Vanessa Williams, Shakira, Julian Barerie, Kelly Clarkson and Jewel puts some dancing shoes on waiting to see cristina saralegui and thalia to dance next season and they be dancing again. The only way lynda carter and 11 celebs can do it is to come up with 30 pts or 25 pts. If any mess comes up less than those they have lost the competition and lynda will be the new dancing with the stars champion. In a word, Sabrina Bryan will return to dance with Mark Ballas on another dance show so MyNetworkTV will break everyone's hearts and well know what's next. So, what do you have for abc this fall since I heard they done images and 3-d splash effect, speed effects, sparkle effects and 3-d effects for the abc circle and letter for abc-11 and other abc inc. station? What do you think of the changes for the fall? Start Here and congradulations to Kristi Yamamguchi. This Week's winner of the Dancing with The Stars Trophy.

Congrats to Kristi! I agree with you that she and Mark were so entertaining all season. I loved them and was so happy for them when they won. I'll really miss DWTS until season seven begins and I'll miss your DWTS blogs too. Thanks!
