DANCING WITH THE STARS - Eliminated!

Alas, Broadway actress Marissa Jaret Winokur has danced her last rumba with her partner Tony Dovolani.  This week she was eliminated from Dancing with the Stars in the semi-finals, so the dance floor will no longer be graced by her bubbly personality and Tony's blindingly white teeth.  Seriously, that guy's teeth are bio-luminescent.

Marissa did a great job, overcoming some early low scores and delivering fun and entertaining routines week after week.  At the beginning of the season I wouldn't have bet that Marissa would make it to the semi-finals, but she really pulled it off.  She and Tony seemed to have built a real bond and were very supportive and positive with each other. 

Moving on to the final round of competition we have Kristi "The Guchi" Yamaguchi and her expressive partner Mark Ballas, Jason Taylor and the scantily clad Edyta Sliwinska, and injured warrior Cristian de la Fuente and veteran dancer Cheryl Burke. 

My money is still on The Guchi, but the shiny disco ball trophy is truly up for grabs.

Uhm, ACTUALLY, Dave, the -guchi part of her name is derived from the Japanese word "kuchi," which means "mouth." So you should be calling her "Kristi 'The Kuchi' Yamaguchi."

Last night was rally the end for me. I am a US navy Flight Surgeon and to see Christian wearing the brace on his write arm was the end for me. He is a fake for if he had such a torn tendon he would not have been abled to finish his dance on Monday. He pulled Cheryl who happens to be the worst of the pros. He would have gone to one knee with the pain of the tear. I knew it was fake and I knew it was planned. I am trying to find out who I can contact to hqave this show taken off the air. Peoples votes don't count. ABC is lying about the injury and they choose who to stay. Mario was a kid and could out dance Marrissa but the judges liked her so she stayed. The judges really don't like Kristi and she was perfect on both dances on Monday. I think season 5 should be the last. My days as a Dancing With the Stars fan is over. I don't like the lakers for letting Kobe get rid of Shaq and pray they lose tonight.

I love this show - even if my favorite star has been eliminated. My comment is about the dresses though - there is a fine line between tasteful and tart-ish - and Edyta's outfit usually fall in the latter category. She is so beautiful that she doesn't need to wear such BRIEF outfits that verge on offensive.

As far as I'm concerned, Christian and Dancing with the Stars has lost all credibility. I don't think Kristi was happy at the end of that show . . . I think she noticed what was happening with Christian's arm switch.

Kristi is good, no doubt about it, but she doesn't belong on the show, she is a dancing pro, skates or no skates. Neither Kristi nor Christan will get my votes!
The show is very entertaining, I will continue to watch it whoever wins!! I vote For
