THE BACHELOR - Love, American Style
Phew! Noelle made it another week. Three other women who were vying for Matt's heart and attention were sent packing, but my favorite remains, despite not getting any alone time with Matt. (That's her smiling on the right in the picture above, BTW)
The lack of face time was upsetting to Noelle as well - she broke down crying and confessed to Robin that she felt like it was just a matter of time before she got kicked off. That was a mistake - Robin was the last person she should be confiding in. Robin advised Noelle that if she was that upset, she should refuse the "amnesty rose" if Matt offered it to her. Whaa--? Aside from being transparently bad advice, that's just mean.
Robin has earned the hatred of all the other girls with her ruthless tactics. Despite having already received a rose from Matt that meant she was safe from elimination, Robin stole Matt away from another girl at the cocktail party. It was bad form, and all it did was make everyone hate her. From Robin's perspective, she's playing the game and all's fair in love and war, but I think her strategy is going to ultimately backfire on her, and big-time.
Weirdly, Matt seems to be attracted to Robin (pictured at right). He also has a thing for Shayne, the blonde actress who seems to wander around in a slurring fog all the time. I don't know what the guy is thinking, I really don't.
It seems like the front runners so far are Holly, the cute children's book author (also pictured above, left); Amanda, the girl with the nervous "meep" hiccups; and yes, Robin. I'm still hoping that Noelle gets some one-on-one time with Matt so he can see how awesome she is and how cute her dimples are. She seems like one of the most sincere and down-to-earth women remaining - which is why I'm on Team Noelle.
It's too bad you can't vote for your favorite contestant like you can on Dancing with the Stars. Having viewers vote would be a lousy way for The Bachelor to pick a potential mate, but it would make for some good TV...

I say Amanda all the way!!
She is by far the only that is REALLY mature, soft spoken, funny (her hiccups are hilarious) and very pretty!!

The best bachelor ever.. He is nice, super handsome and caring. I hope he will find the woman of his dreams on the show.

I hope Noelle wins. She is the most genuine and sincere person on this show. I just hope that Robin does not win or else the bachelor curse of no happy ending may just continue.

Yes!! I am sooo glad others like Noelle. I like her the best but unfortunatly,I don't know how much Matt does. Robin's got to go too!! I also put in a vote for Chelsea....i think they would make a good couple

I really hope these girls really aren't like this in real life. Nastiness, is unacceptable. I could not imagine for a moment putting oneself out there like this. It makes me nauseous to see how the girls treat each other. I don't think the bachelor gets much insight on who the girl is and what she is about. The same is true for the bacheloretts. A pretty package can be decieving.

Are the bachelorettes styled? Do they get their makeup done before they go on air? Does ABC pay for their clothes? They seem to look so cute and that can be incredibly expensive. Thoughts?

I really loved Robin's wink and smile .. I was in great hopes that she would have been picked. I wish her all the best luck. If I were in her home town, I would be proud of allowing her a wink and sweet smile. Robin your in my thoughts and prayers..
