OCTOBER ROAD - Roadies unite!

Nobody could ever accuse the fans of October Road of being apathetic.  On the last post we did about the show, there were over 1,360 comments (and counting) from fans who want the show to return for another season.  That's a Live from L.A. record for number of comments in a single post, and is a real testament to how much people love the show.

The "Roadies" have rallied in a grass roots effort to save their show, so I thought I'd point any interested parties towards the "Pay October Road Forward" campaign.  Details about the campaign are on their site.   

Will the Roadies prevail?  Who can say?  The fate of the show is up in the air at this point.  I for one would like to see more October Road because I loves me the Pizza Girl.  Who doesn't love Pizza Girl?

October road needs a "season 3". With only 19 episodes it has barely had a season 1. Fans need to know who is Sam's dad, Does Phil leave the house, Does Nick stay with Aubrey, Does Hannah really marry Ray, Will Matt go to jail, Will Owen and Alison reunite, Will the Commander get a bone marrow transplant, Will Eddie forgive Janet, Will Ikey find love? and of course we need to see how pizza girl wears her hair! October Road NEEDS a season 3. Thanks for the Blog!

I love October Road and I'm so happy that the fans of this show are making their voices heard by the folks at ABC about this great show while simultaneously spreading the word about it through Season 1 DVD donations to libraries. October Road has a lot of heart and is unlike any other on television. I think its fans are so loyal to it because we've grown to love these characters and want them to succeed. The season finale left so many unresolved and unanswered questions. We need to know where the characters go from there (especially Janet and Eddie). We need a season 3. Give the show a chance to reach a broader audience. Save October Road!

Ha! You are a brave man to challenge the Roadies to beat their own posting record. I hope ABC has room for all of the comments that are about to come your way! I can't tell you enough how much I enjoy watching this show. The characters are "real" and so believable. It's nice to watch a show and really be able to relate to the characters. I, for one, cannot wait for season 3. I know we are all working really hard to get word out about this terrific show. One thing, I am sure we all agree on, is that once season 3 comes out, we all will continue to bring in more fans. This show is unique, heartwarming, funny, moving, touching....it makes you laugh, cry, smile, feel anger. Every week takes you through some kind of emotion that we all can identify with. Thanks for the post about the campaign! I will be absolutely devastated if ABC does not give this show a third season. I have fallen in love with Knight's Ridge and its residents - ABC please don't give up on it! Long live the Ridge (and we need to see Eddie and Janet reconcile ASAP!)
