ELI STONE - More to do
Well, that was either a great way to end the entire series or a very satisfying way to end the first season of Eli Stone. I'm hoping it's the latter.
Eli's risky surgery to remove the aneurysm finally happens, and things don't go as planned. The worst case scenario seems to be happening, leaving our attorney/prophet in a coma. Will Eli wake up? Will his brother Nathan respect his wishes and take him off life-support? Will Eli finally meet the Allmighty, architect of his redemption? And would God look a lot like, oh I don't know... George Michael?
Wait a second - you have watched it, haven't you? If not, you should do yourself a favor and watch this episode online here.
This week's episode was a surreal and emotionally powerful finale to an unusual series that has become one of my favorite shows on ABC. Eli Stone is a well-written show, stuffed with great actors, that is based on a quirky but fascinating premise. Johnny Lee Miller has consistently delivered a compelling performance as Eli - he hits the right balance between smugness, bewilderment, and earnest conviction. The supporting cast has been fantastic, particularly Victor Garber as Jordan - that guy rules. I know I'm not alone in hoping that Eli Stone comes back for a second season - TV needs smart, offbeat shows with heart.
Plus, Eli has more to do.

More Eli Stone..My wife loves this show. All she does is talk about Eli Stone and how good this show is. She's nutty about this show.

What a great show. One of a few shows that any family could watch with out fear of something off color. The entire cast is great. I truly hope the show returns. Please ABC, give it a chance.

My co-workers shared a dissapointing moment today recalling how the ABC station in Dallas screwed up by telling us about the tornadoes around the area during our season finale of Eli Stone! I took no pleasure in the anchor letting us know that he realized his mistake by telling us our show wouldn't be interrupted again after losing the first 15 minutes. And I highly doubt it's a coincidence that the ABC website wouldn't load when I tried to access it during the show to see if the first 15 minutes were available online. This is a refreshing new series with a type of originality and character I've not seen before in a TV series. Thank you for everything, this show is a great inspiration and I will be extremely disappointed in ABC and lose trust in their ability to recognize genius and quality if it is cancelled now. I sincerely promise to never begin watching and following a new series on ABC again if they take Eli Stone from me now.

I agree. This is a great show!!! I really hope they bring it back and starting in the Fall so it can run the whole season. This is by far my favorite show on tv. I've talked to a lot of people who feel the same. Even my Dad likes it:-)

Agreed, I was furious about the ABC station in Dallas messing up an amazing finale in order to talk about hail storms for an hour. I refused to watch this amazing finale half-way through.
This show is the best thing going on TV. It has real substance, is witty, and is incredibly well-written.

Please keep Eli Stone!!! It is one of the best new shows I've seen in years. It is well written, has an uplifting message, and the cast has great charisma. I don't usually watch new shows put out by the major networks. I spend most of my time watching the major calble networks. I watched the pilot because there was nothing else that caught my interest, and was hooked and didn't miss an episode. If ABC wants to lure more people like me back to them, they need to keep Eli Stone and make more shows of this caliber.

I watch very little TV. It is just not important in our family's life. However, I am sure to watch Eli Stone every week. It is fresh and original - television that can be happily supported. This last episode had me crying the whole time. I feel ABC has done a lot of good by producing Eli Stone and they would be remiss to take it off the air now. If the ratings are sufferring, why not try airing it in the 8:00 or 9:00 slot so more families can enjoy this well done production?

Eli Stone is a rare jem in ABC's arsenal of shows. In this ever changing world, this show reminds us that it's never too late to change and that some things in life are worth fighting for. Faith is important to a lot of people and this is the first show I have seen that shows all aspects of faith, does not judge it in any form, and is accesible to anyone of any faith (including no faith). Aside from it's heart-warming content this show is intelligent, funny, and extremely well-written with a fantastic cast led by the inspirational Johnny Lee Miller as Eli. I was shocked to hear it may not be returning, considering what a fantastic and awe-inspiring show this is. I am really hope it is renewed. The finale was so perfect as either an end or as a new beginning.

I would definately love to see more Eli, ideally full season. (20+episodes)
Please make sure to bring Maggie back, too.
I also hope that the first season will be released on Blu-ray soon. This show looks great on HD.

Eli Stone has to be one of the best shows that I have actually watched every episode. There are so many reality shows on now, it's refreshing to see something else. By something else, I mean a great show, worth watching!! Eli Stone had me in the mood to travel in time to next week, so that I can watch the next episode. This one is a keeper, hope ABC can see that!!

Eli Stone is an excellent show. The season finale was especially inspiring and moving. Jonny Lee Miller is great in the role of Eli and makes me care about this character and what happens in his life. It is also refreshing to find he has a caring and adult relationship with his brother. It would be most unfortunate if this enjoyable program were not renewed. Be smart ABC and give the viewers what we want…more Eli Stone!
