The Guchi is skating home with the shiny disco ball tonight.  Awesome!  Oooh, they even got fireworks to accent her victory.  The highest scoring competitor in Dancing with the Stars season wins big. 

Jason and Cristian hoist Kristi and her mirror ball up and take a victory lap as confetti rains down and the entire cast floods out on to the floor.

I don't think Kristi should have been allowed to be in the competition as she is a professional skater which requires "dancing" on skates and learning routines. She is too close to being a professional to be featured as a novice dancer like the others were. When you consider that she is practically a professional, the other girls did much better as far as learning the dances cold turkey with no training like she had.

I thought it was dancing with the stars - not the judges pick their favorites. Also, Christian and Jason's voting lines were cut short and did not get the 5 required votes. It was apparent that Kristi was going to win regardless and she had some messups last night. I guess if you kiss the judges and jump them, it will get you a ten. I am disgusted with the show and calling for a boycott of the next season.

Kristi Won!!! I am sooo happy!! I can't believe people are still upset about Kristi winning. She never learned how to ballroom dance when she was ice skating. She learned to dance,on the other hand, supposedly Jason took ballroom classes when he knew he was going to be on the show. So, who has the prior experience? JASON!! Kristi won fair and square!

All in one word disappointed this was clearly a one sided race. Didn't matter who danced, Kristi was going to win from the get go. Very disappointing contest this round.

I would just like to say that I think that this season was very boring because you could tell from the start that Kristy had a very unfair advantage by being a skater and that alone has a lot of gracefulness I also would just like to see stars be taught from scratch and not with some dance back ground already.

I agree with Penny...Kristi should not have been allowed to compete when she is a dancer on skates...learning choreography as a professional figure skater...maybe they wanted to make sure a woman won this time, who knows. I aam very disappointed in the show, I didnt watch as much this year for this reason....and this is one of the only shows I watch on tv. Most disappointing season of this show I have seen...:(

She did have an advantage. She did have the judges. Did she have the people's votes?. Nobody knows.

She did a great job. It was unfair and I personally don't think anyone who has worked with choreographers in the past, as extensively as Kristi has should be in this. But ABC choose to have her in there, and she came out and competed and she was the best. We can't deny her the "win" - Good Job and Great Preformances Kristi'.
But my strongest Kudo's go to Jason and Christian making this competition close and truly competing.

As a dancer myself, I am still trying to figure out how they selected Kristi to participate in this competition as a "novice dancer"???? She clearly has plenty of experience with learning choreography, counting and moving to music, artistic expression, technique, lifts....should I go on? Doesn't anyone thing she's taken ballet classes or danced her skating routines out before doing them on ice? Is everyone really that naive or did everyone just bury their head in the sand and choose not to say anything about it even though it is totally unfair to the other contestants???? She was NEVER on the same level as the other contestants and I think it is completely unfair that the others were expected to ever competer with her.

Furthermore, Cristian was a far better dancer than Jason ever was....even with his injury. The whole thing is a sham as far as I'm concerned. I feel bad for Cristian....he should have won....without question.

i ICE SKATE AND i CANT DO BALLROOM. THE ONLY ADVANTAGE IS SHE WORKS OUT AT EVERYTHING SHE DOES. THE ONLY WAY TO WIN ANYTHING THESE DAYS IS TO BAD AT IT. I HAPPEN TO KNOW HOW MANY HRS. I did not think Christian or Jason were better than her. I was kind of bored by them. I think Kristi and Mark's pairing was phenomenal - they were the team to beat. The voters and judges did right here.

What do you think a competition is, he's not stupid, and he is also not the only star in the entire history of the show that has taken classes on the side to get better, normally that is what a person in a competition does...IMPROVE!!! The reason why Kristi didn't do it is because she didn't need to, she already had the technique... SHE HAD THE MOST EXPERIENCE!!!

OMG - I just watched the end of the program which Kristi states that she is at a disadvantage from skating since she is not used to fancy footwork. Come on! What do you think figure skating is? She was a ringer from the start and it was not fair!! Jason Taylor should have won. He was the real novice who learned a lot and overcame his dancing fears!! VERY DISAPPOINTED!!
