Rascal Flatts
9:20 PM
Here are Rascal Flatts with a romantic country number. I'm not familiar with the band, so I was a little surprised that they weren't all Muppets. What? Rascal Flatts - they sound like they should be cute little hillbilly Muppets. I'm going to get angry comments for that, I just know it.
Apollo and Julianne are showing why they were the champions with a beautiful yet flashy dance. Plenty of lifts, lots of spins, and a real romantic vibe. Plus, that spinning death spiral was awesome.

Wow! I'm surprised at you, Dave. I can't believe you haven't heard these guys before. They've been around for years and have dozens of Grammys! Not like you to write negative things!

LOL. Country girl can appreciate good fun. Just a warning-when you win as many Grammys as these guys, then you poke fun. :)

I want to know how did Rascal Flatts play Live at Dancing and also be in the audiance live at American Idol? Which one isn't live?

Rascal Flatts may not be good looking, but you cannot deny their music is POWERFUL!!!
Apolo and Julianne's dance brought be to tears... it was honestly the most beautiful dance I've seen in a while... I wish we could have seen it ALL!!!! We don't need to SEE Rascal Flatts... they are a band... we like to HEAR them!!!

Thanks for info

To Maddie:
I think the song is called Everyday.
Posted by: Nancy | May 06, 2008 at 06:46 PM
It is either Everyday or Take Me There!

My husband and I were really disappointed that the camera kept cutting to the singer instead of staying on Apollo and Julianne. Who care about watching the singers? Pretty irritating to know the great dancing is going on that we couldn't see!

What you don't know who Rascal Flatts is. Have you been in a cave. they have grammies, are all over country and pop radio stations and they did the soundtrack song for the huge animated movie CARS. Anywho, Apollo & julianne wear so hott last night. Wished Max and Mel danced more.

How could you have not heard of Rascal Flatts ? And as for the Singer who has a name, Gary LeVox, I would rather watch him sing then watch anyone dance.

I was in the audience for the 100th episode and I can tell you that Rascal Flatts was taped before the show went live. He actually sang each song twice - it was great to see the dances performed twice. American Idol was right next door so he must have made his way over there at some point. Paula Abdul was there for part of the Dancing with the Stars show too.

Rascal Flatts is from Oklahoma, but they did much of the soundtrack of the movie Cars and they've got lots of Grammies. Not to mention the obvious, they sound FANTASTIC! And I don't like country music. Life is a Highway is in Cars, incidentally, so that may be where you heard it.
