More Usher

Usher's doing a Big Band arrangement of "Yeah!" which really works. Spectacular black tie dance number, complete with tap dancing and a noticeable lack of lip synching. That's why he's Usher.

So you've heard of the guest singer tonight, eh? :)

Hey the lip synching was not that noticible on the first song...right? I mean just because he stopped singing to dance doesnt mean he was lip synching...right? LOL Does not make a difference, he is still HOTT!

What is wrong with the audio???? Every week they have the music so load you cannot hear anyone that is talking.... when will the director notice this and turn down the music audio???

Why waste time with a performer that doesn't have enough confidence in their singing ability than to stoop to Lip Synch...thought the days of Millie Vanillie were long gone.

Are you kidding???
What about the first number so OBVIOUSLY lip Sync'd. The producers should be fired for allowing anyone to lip-synch on the Finals (Live?)Show!

Who won tonight???
Posted by: Diane | May 20, 2008 at 07:36 PM
Disappointed- Roger! I was being sarcastic, it was very obvious! Oh and was not the first time an artist has done that on a final show...maybe b/c its a new song, he does not have the words down yet! LOL
But still HOTT!

The lip synching is terrible. Usher is better live.

He has cheated his fans by lip synching

This year was the most biased and precictable ever. If you are going to match people with no back ground in this environment with people such as Cristy and her years of choreography against novices what can you expect.Secondly the sympathy votes fron the judges for Christian were very unprofessional. This is a competition if you are only judged on one side of your boby and everyone else is judged on both sides where is the competition. I give Sheryl all the credit in the world but lets be real, he didn't dance with both sides of his body and everyone was judged on their whole performance. Do yourself a favor and make this somewhat equal.

I thought the lip syncing was terrible! And so obvious. It totally cheats his fans from a real performance.

Usher sucks! C'mon, if you can't sing and dance at the same time don't! You either sing or you dance...that was the worst lip synching I have ever seen! He should have focused on one or the other.

I know huh?!?
Posted by: Mike | May 20, 2008 at 10:28 PM
This has to be the worst lip synching of all time. Usher was never "in the game" with either song. I thought that lip synching was a thing of the past for this very reason!

The lip synching was so bad I could not stop laughing. It was distracting.

So much for the "child to grandparents friendly" show with Usher's very sexual lyrics and dancing. Wonder how many parents felt this way.

Not only was he obviously lip syncing, but it wasn't even live last night! It was taped last week, I was there! The judges changed into their outfits from this week, and they even decorated the studio like it was the finale. Pathetic.

I agree with Kim. Usher was the worst music entertainer you have ever had. His sexual lyrcis were not appropriate for all of your viewers.

I don't feel cheated at all. I couldn't care less if he sang live...it's not like he is such a powerful singer. He is an entertainer. His claim to fame has been dancible beats, amazing, intricate choreography, and sex appeal. Check, Check, and CHECK!!

It was disappointing that he didn't sing live. He definately should have. The dancing/choreography was awesome. He did sing and dance live on SNL once. He did an amazing job with that. He can do it, so he should have.

This is one of my fav. songs out right now and I'm not a big Usher fan neither but that performance was ridiculously bad. I PVR'd the entire performance in High Def and he wasn't even close on matching the words...kinda embarassing atually...Why would a big name performer risk all that in front of a national audience is beyond me...His agent should be fired and so should the show's producer.
