More Rascal Flatts

Mel B. (aka Scary Spice) and Maxim Chmerkovskiy dancing to "Life is a Highway." I know this song; I guess I have heard Rascal Flatts before.
Anyway, Mel and Maxim are tearing things up out on the floor - she looks great in her abbreviated sparkly spangled mini-dress with fringes. They're pulling off some daring moves - that split drag-across the floor move was something else.
Next: the eliminations begin!
I am so lovin this show tonight. I hate it that someone has to leave.

Actually, they did a great cover of the song for the soundtrack of Pixar's "Cars", so chances are you knew the original.
I still can't believe you've not heard from them before :)

Rascal Flatts are doing a cover of life is a highway. They're a country group who sing me and my gang, and god bless the broken road. I don't know which they sang on here, as I don't have tv (hence the reason I live for this blog and internet episodes) :P

Is the result show of dancing with the stars live? Cause tonight I watched American Idol and Ryan walked over and talked to Rascal Flatts who where in the audience..then they were on Dancing with the Stars!!!

I agree with you if they record it they would have to say that Ryan is always big about saying how they are a live show..I think it seems werid

I don't know about you guys, but I think they need to get Maxim Chmerkovskiy back on the show....he brings some SERIOUS heat to the stage! Wow! I forgot how charismatic he was last season with Mel B. They need him back.

Yeah, mel and maks are my favorite dwts couple ever.
American Idol and DWTS are recorded in the same studio in LA. Also, the parts with the guest singer/band and the dancing is prerecorded.

The reason "Life is a Highway" seems familiar may not be due entirely to "Cars". Tom Cochrane had a huge hit with it in about 1991.
