Kristi and Mark's jive

For their final final, Kristi and Mark are dancing their bubblegum pop jive - and totally nailing it once again.  Hey, did she get her heel tangled in her skirt?  She recovered well.

The judges weigh in on their performance.  Len and Bruno both think that Kristi was amazingly consistent, and Carrie Ann says she has set the standard for the entire competition.

getting your foot caught in your dress isn't really something you can control. things go wrong in any dance and kristi recovered wonderfully. search "jill halfpenny jive" for another example of a celeb who got her heel caught in her dress and got a perfect 40 on "strictly come dancing"

It doesn't matter, griggzy, improvement doesn't count, just consistancy.

how could abc have known that kristi would have been so good? it seems weird to me that people are bashing kristi and not considering all of the hard work that she has put in this competition. it's not like she just goes in and nails the routine- it takes a lot of practice.

The show wanted a female to win this year. That's why they let Kristi Yamaguchi, a professional figure skater (aka dancer on ice) compete. Why give her a perfect score on a dance where she has made errors? Talk about biased judging!

Christie should not have been in this competition. She is already a dancer. Jason worked so hard and should have won.

kristi was the best and i thought she should of won. the only thing, jason was probaly the fans choice and kristi shoul not of got 10s because of the misstep. I dont believe the judges wanted to call it the way it is because kristi may not have won and she was the best.

She has never been an ice dancer. She'd never done a jive, tango or a waltz on ice. Mario Lopez, as I understand it, did have some dance training.

Kristi and Mark were the best dancers from DAY 1, hands down. The came out strong and only got better! Finally, the best dancers WIN!!! YEEEEAAAHHHH!!

Complainers, get over it. Kristi deserved to win -- she's hard working, focused, and determined. That's how she's always been. Hooray for her. She's fabulous!!!!!

I agree 100% with Mary! Kristi is awesome!!! And she deserved to win!! If anyone else won it would have not been fair but it turned out fair for once!!!

Interesting comments range from Kristi shouldn't have won because she was a champion ice skater to she already knew how to dance.
First of all - Being an ice skater is completely different than ballroom dancing and Kristi had to work hard just like everyone else except that shewas already so graceful and coordinated. She improved every week just like the Jason and Cristian. Remember the guys each had sexy and beautiful women to enhance their performances.
Kristi and Mark richly deserved to have won this year. (And I say what mis-step griggzy??? Guess you didn't see how she never let that get in her way and did not stop or miss a step)
