Kristi Yamaguchi and Mark Ballas for the win!

The Guchi is skating home with the shiny disco ball tonight.  Awesome!  Oooh, they even got fireworks to accent her victory.  The highest scoring competitor in Dancing with the Stars season wins big. 

Jason and Cristian hoist Kristi and her mirror ball up and take a victory lap as confetti rains down and the entire cast floods out on to the floor.

Jason and Edyta - Scoring

The last time they did a quick step they got a 29 out of 30.  This time...

30 points!  It's Jason and Edyta's last score of the season and their first perfect score.

Jason launches off the stage and into a light hearted quick step.  They did great this time out - Jason knows it, too.  He's stoked. 

Bruno says they move like angels and thinks this was their best performance.  Carrie Ann thinks that Jason's elegance of spirit shines through when he dances.  Len calls Jason "the people's champion."  I smell tens for Jason and Edyta.

Kristi and Mark - Scoring

Their final competetive dance of the season nets them a perfect score - straight tens.  That brings their total score for this week to 90, which must be a first. 

The judges' scores from tonight and last night make up 50% of this week's total score, the rest being made up of viewer votes.

Kristi and Mark's jive

For their final final, Kristi and Mark are dancing their bubblegum pop jive - and totally nailing it once again.  Hey, did she get her heel tangled in her skirt?  She recovered well.

The judges weigh in on their performance.  Len and Bruno both think that Kristi was amazingly consistent, and Carrie Ann says she has set the standard for the entire competition.

More Usher

Usher's doing a Big Band arrangement of "Yeah!"  which really works.  Spectacular black tie dance number, complete with tap dancing and a noticeable lack of lip synching.  That's why he's Usher.

Marissa and Tony's paso doble

Hey, they didn't have the snooty British voice saying, "Dancing the paso doble, Marissa Jaret Winokur and her partner Tony Dovoloni."  I miss snooty British voice when he's not there.

Yowza, Marissa is really selling the dance.  She looks like she's having a ball.

Mario and Karina's mambo

Caliente!  Mario heats up the dance floor with lots of hip action and twirls.  How is it they didn't make it to the semi-finals at least?  They're incredible - Mario's a great dancer.

Shannon and Derek's quick step

Wow, you know I think Shannon and Derek, they did better in the encore than they did in the competition.

Once again Shannon is wiped out at the end of the dance and has to cling to Tom, totally winded.  She needs some cardio training!

Samantha's dress

I think Samantha looks good tonight, don't you?  I usually don't like the strapless dresses on her, but this one's nice.  It's a sort of pearly grey satin finish dress.  Her hair looks good either way, but she's got it up tonight with one lock of hair hanging down over her cheek -it really goes with the outfit.    A+ and thumbs up for Samantha tonight.
