The couple who are going home...
9:57 PM
Kristi and Mark are safe - a little false suspense there, didn't you think? Of course they were safe.
Jason and Edyta are safe as well, which is good.
But who is going home...?
Marlee and Fabian have been eliminated.

NOOO! as we say in deaf culture that is fa-up (hush little bunnies it only means messed)

Kudos and congratulations to Marlee Matlin for her wonderful work on DWTS! What a wonderful, inspiring and graceful human being you are. My family and I will miss seeing you!

Well I wont watch another show. They did Marlee so wrong with her scores!!!
Posted by: kathie447 | April 22, 2008 at 07:06 PM
NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHY? when? when...god she only got a low score because fabian had to hold on to her because she can't hear, other than that she looked sexy, and kicked butt

Shame on the judges for not being fair with their scores for Marlee & Fabian. Shame on fans who could have given them one more chance to dance...they were such a delight to watch!! Marlee has got style & class!!

Don't think I could have stood another week of the judges basically telling Marlee how inspiring she was, despite how bad she was. Found it rather insulting, week after week. She was better than that!
Posted by: Paula28 | April 22, 2008 at 07:23 PM
i'll take marlee over shannon any day. the difference between marlee and shannon is class.
Posted by: laurie | April 22, 2008 at 07:33 PM
I thought Marlee & Fabian were much better than Marissa & Tony! I'm sad to see Marlee go.
Posted by: Irishrose | April 22, 2008 at 07:34 PM
I'm sorry for Marlee. She wanted to prove something. Still, she did a good job.

I was so surprised to see Mario in the bottom two after he scored so high... guess it just goes to show people need to remember to vote for the high scorers as well.

Getting tired of not being aloud to sign in on check out day!! Always shows error, Not like we can't find out early who is gone from the show but I like to read what people say
Posted by: Patricia | April 22, 2008 at 07:47 PM
I agree, Marissa has been on far to long, her ever wild hair, bad costumes and bad dancing are making everyone sick. She should have been gone way before Priscilla and Marlee

This season isn't as good in competition as before. The judges are all over the place and seem to be really giving out way to high of scores to the awful ones and low to the better ones and then the better ones leave early. I think Jason is darling but those long arms are awful and his upper body just doesn't look right and yet they praise him like crazy, then Mario who has the most natural talent gets slammed weekly. I think Len doesn't like Karina or something she and Edyta do seem to make their routines for show casing themselves and not their partners is always part of their problems. Anyone else agree
Posted by: Patty | April 22, 2008 at 07:53 PM
Anyone else want to see Paula Abdul on the show? Rumor has it she wants to be on it. I would love to see her, if Kristi the old skater can be on so can Paula. Not like Kristi hasn't had dance all her life to get ready for her skating performances.

I find it appalling that shannon and derek were not kicked off after their unprofessional reaction to the judges' criticism. To point out others' mistakes when their very own dancing needs improvement was whiny and for that marlee who has always maintained composure during criticism should have been allowed to stay!

I really thought that it was unfair that Marlee got voted off. She is an inspiration for all of deaf and hard of hearing community. The judges were unfair!!!!!

I could no more believe the results on Dancing tonight, than I could the PA primary results.
Are they joking, they sent home Marlee over Marissa ?? and Mario in the bottom two after the smokin'hot GREAT DANCE LAST NIGHT! Folks must vote for the dancers like they do the presidential candidates, BAD!! Marlee should have stayed, Marissa should be gone and Mario should have never been where he was tonight.
Posted by: theresa | April 22, 2008 at 10:21 PM
i think shannon and derek are sexy together. ah he is gorgeous. work it girl!!

Marlee handled herself with such dignity and class...Shannon Elizabeth could really learn a lesson or two from her. Despite their 'apologies' to the viewers for their tirade, I think the damage was done and I predict Shannon Elizabeth will be the next one to go (or at LEAST in the bottom two)...nobody likes a crybaby!

I but it was time for her to go home. I loved the way Marlee handled her through the whole process. But I'm sure she wouldn't have wanted mercy votes.

I share the feelings of those who feel that the judges were to hard on Marlee. Can anyone imagine what it is like to have to feel the musice in spiked heals. She was the true perfessional she always is. She is a wonderful lady and I believe that the judges and the fans where way to harsh on her. I have almost perfect hearing and cannot imagine life without it. She has inspired me for years. I wish that some day I could meet her. Marlee, You go Girl. You are a perfect picture of poise and grace.

Just want to say Marlee was a great inspiration to all. Es una mujer elegante, linda , bellisima. Thanks for sharing yourself and what you can to to the world. for that she deserves a 10 for inspiration and effort.

Props to Marlee and Fabien. He did have to hold her, and they shouldn't have to do that, but I understand why...she's deaf..but considering her situation she did awesome and Fabien must have alot of patience. gonna miss them Marlee, u r great!!
Posted by: sanangelkit | April 23, 2008 at 06:23 AM
i agree with everyone. deaf or not deaf, i felt she deserved higher scores. last night was really good, in my opinion. last week was only bad because she lost the beat because of her hearing. i want marissa gone, then shannon, then cristian, then kristi, then mario, and the winner isssssssssssssss jason!

I think Marlee was a wonderful competitor and showed grace and dignity throughout the competition. I enjoyed watching her and she was definately and inspiration to all of us. Bless you Marlee for your courage and beauty in your dancing.

Shannon and Derek the judges used constructive criticism. Instead of blowing up at the judges, you should put that energy to better use. Shannon, the judges are correct. You're too stiff. You need to wiggle like jello. Most of the guys don't have waists and they manage to have hip action. No excuses. Work on it. And remember, it's constructive criticism.

why and why did marley go she did grate.

hi marlee,
your dancing was a great inspiration for those who are physically able and physically challenge. what a marvelous spirit of beauty and joy on display. Fabian was a terrific dance teacher. You and Fabian were wonderful and deserved more than a 10!!!

I agree with almost all these comments. In my mind and heart, Marlee is the champion! She did all she could and more. Thanks Marlee for this inspirational and gracefull presence.
As far as of the rest.... Shannon is completely unprofessional and unfortunately, got young Derek involved. She should be out next, go home and do some hard growing up. As for the rest, they are all doing their best, but in my opinion the one that has really shown a great improvement is Cristian de la Fuente. At the beginning he did not know right from left (not insulting you Cristian), as far as ballroom dacing is concerned. Not even his good looks were helping him. This improvement shows that he is serious and persistent about it. I feel like Kristi has already kind of reached her potential, she started as the best (she is the greatest ice skater)and I do not see any improvement as far as ballroom dancing is concerned. As for the rest, no one has impressed me as much. They really do not outstand.

I'm sorry Marlee was eliminated. She did a fantastic job dancing. Marissa should have been eliminated the first week. She has no dancing talent, and no grace on the floor. She's the absolute worst there. It's so obvious the judging is rigged. I was really disappointed that the judges were so critical of poor Marlee, since she is deaf and cannot hear the music. I also think the Latin dances should be danced to proper Latin music and not American hip-hop music, that music and Latin dances do not go together.
