I was really looking forward to the next episode but why did you have to go and mar it by bringing back Ryan?

If his business savvy is anywhere near as miraculous as Rebecca's, I guess at the very least it would be something additional we could scoff at.

But please, Ryan has got to go. NO MORE RYAN!

"Holly and Saul give Rebecca and Ryan a new opportunity to prove their business savvy."

They're really trying to run Ojai into the ground, aren't they?

Well, I know the episode will be short for me, at least, since I'll not be watching anything with Ryan or Robert's campaign (FREE KEVIN!). I hope the other plots make up for it!

Oh, I HATE domestic bliss!

A happy Kevin & Scotty is just so... so... ennuyeux... this is the correct french word, yes? Tiresome, tedious. Jejune.

I've been reading Tom Stoppard's play "The Real Thing", and I've decided it's high time for Kevin to have a secret, rejuvenating affair. With a young, intellectual college professor. Make him strange and interesting and colorful... give him a mysterious background. Make him so damned interesting and sexy and charasmatic that we all yawn and moan whenever Scotty appears on the screen.

I'm sorry. Obviously I haven't forgiven the B&S creative team for not fighting to salvage the Eric Winter character.

Scotty is boring. Scotty's idea of a good time is cooking pasta and coining platitudes. I had hoped for something much more for Kevin Walker. Scotty is the very definition of happy and bourgeois. Happy in his social & political complacency.

Ugh. Blargh. I want zest and spark and spontaneity and a jolt of passion, and instead I get Scotty Wandell.

coco

I just can't wait to see Gilles Marini. He is so handsome and sexy, I think he will be the best addition to the show, and I agree no more Ryan, he was so boring.

connie

Is rhys gay in real life? not that it matters but it is sure HOT if he is!@

Sylviane

I have to admit, I admire Luke Grimes for playing the part of Ryan.

It cannot be easy to play a character that is so thoroughly unwanted by so many fans. I've even read fans of him, disappointed with the terrible character that Ryan is.

And worst of all. He isn't even a character that you can love to hate, like a JR Ewing for instance. He is just a character that most of us just want GONE.

And in a way, that is sad, because I saw Grimes in "Mandy Lane" and he wasn't even that bad.

I don't think I will like Ryan anytime soon, but the actor sure has my sympathy.

tina

folks that should be eliminated from the show;

Rebecca
Ryan

Rebecca's character might be saved if the network hire a different acctress who can act. Give Rebecca a spine, it's the 21st century not 1920s. No modern woman is going to be that whinny, needy and clingy.

Rhys is too good and hot for television. To respond to a poster, I don't know if he's gay but he should be bisexual! :))

Kie Ann

I have watched this show religiously since it first aired. The quality is slipping and it is sending me into a mourning period.

Nora - still consistently annoying-motherly-obssessive-compulsive. Her character is stable.

Saul - still on the fringe. He doesn't do much but that is ok because if he did, I would not watch it.

Kitty - she lost her spark. She was such a joy in season 1 and 2. After marriage to Macallister, she became a total bore.

Sarah - she needs more air time and character development.

Justin - he needs to grow up. fast. annable is a good actor but he needs better lines and a more evolved character.

tommy - bring him back. he mediates well between the two brothers excessiveness.

julia - boring actress and plot.

rebecca - after she became a walker, BORING. she needs to either be given a good plot or be killed off.

ryan - BIG mistake. he needs to go.

holly - she can stay but her accent is annoying. it's like she's trying to hard to pronounce her lines. her boobs are too fake. liked her better on thirtysomething.

scotty - needs to be less flaming and the writers have done a good job so far. he needs to be more real and evolved and not just an appendix for kevin. oh, and bring back scotty's diva friends - they were awesome.

KEVIN - my favorite character and the only reason i watch the show (ok, aside from family-chaos dinner time drama). rhys is an amazing actor who plays kevin well. too well for tv. BUT, i hate that he is no longer a lawyer. he clearly loved his job and he was good at it. nothing is better than kevin in control as a lawyer. big mistake to write his character as Macllister's communications director which in so many ways, made rhys lose his charm and just become bitter. he needs to be in control again. he has the best lines but something needs to change with his present job.

Michelle

Great picture! I just loooove Scotty, i think he is so good for Kevin. These two guys are a really cute couple!

S.L.

For the most part this ep was fantastic. I loved Kitty's storyline. I even managed to believe Robert's shift to focusing on her. I loved Kevin and Scotty's scenes. Still liking how your handling this plot. I ADORED the scenes with Scotty & Nora and Saul & Nora. For the most part, a nice mix of humor and drama.

Now, let's get to the negatives. Maybe the complaints haven't been clear enough, but nobody cares about Ryan! It's difficult enough to believe that Rebecca and Holly are business geniuses. Now they're getting sabotaged by Ryan? Isn't he supposed to be down in the loading dock anyway? And until we get scenes with Saul and Sarah again, I don't really care about what's going on at Ojai, thanks.

And last but CERTAINLY not least, what what WHAT do we have to do to get you to FREE KEVIN?! Now he's actually making secret, backhanded deals to protect the career of his BFF, the Republican? You even teased us by giving him a perfectly valid reason to quit his job - you know for that baby he wants so desperately - but he won't even do that, because of how much he "loves" this job? Give me a break. For the love of all that's holy, give Kevin back his integrity, his beliefs and his ideals.

That said, I would pay good money to see Kevin and Travis start a consulting company or law firm or something together. GOLD!

Mariana

Since you guys are the writers, I'll ask you, what happened to the accident Justin and Rebecca were in at the end of last week's episode? Wasn't that the big cliffhanger? No mention at all??

TexRex96

At the end of last week's episode Justin and fiance get in horrible car accident on the way to their picnic. In tonight's episode, no mention -- it never happened? Please help... What am I missing? A show of this calibur could not create such a huge continuity and plot error.

AtelierGal

Last week ended with Justin & Rebecca in a car accident. What happened?! There was no mention tonight at all!

Nora mentioned she had this bad feeling and then the accident happened, yet NOTHING WAS EXPLAINED! I'm glad both of them are fine, not sure about their new car, but what happened?!?!

I have to agree with the other other fans, I don't like Ryan either. He's full of angst and now ESPIONAGE! He was in Berkley, he should know the meaning of that word right?

He should have taken that severance package & leave! I understand he hates William for driving his mother to her grave, but he should just go! Please, do not add him to the Walker Family Tree ABC ad!

Along with Rebecca, he's inexperienced & unqualified, why would Saul & Holly let them be responsible for their new project?

I like how Kevin is getting comfortable as Robert's Communications Director, but he's walking down a dark road which scares me! I like how the writers made him think for a second "Am I turning into Travis?"

I would rather him go back to being a lawyer.

S.L.

There was no accident at the end of last week's episode. Justin and Rebecca swerved just in time. It was a fake-out. We were all worried* for nothing - but wait! It's really Kitty whose life is in danger. See? "Clever" writing, huh?

*Or we were supposed to be. Me, I was kind of hoping to see the end of Rebecca.

BC - Shove off Ryan!

Good episode mostly. Real shame you came up with the unnecessary Ojai subplot and Ryan still trying hard to play saboteur. That was piss poor. Ryan, Rebecca and Holly are unqualified gits and no one is gonna believe otherwise.

I am happy with the Kevin & Scotty's storyline so far. Their contrasting feelings about parenthood is realistic and interesting to watch.

I enjoy watching Robert behave like a two-faced, self-righteous ass and thank you for allowing Kevin to call him out on that. We all know Robert plays dirty when he wants to. However, I'm still not buying that Kevin is overly concerned about what Robert thinks of him.

Travis & Kevin scenes = BRILLIANT! More of them please.

Sally and Calista were wonderful in this episode. That final scene of Nora breaking down was heartbreaking.

AFA Mom

Rob Lowe was wearing an Air Force Academy Tshirt in this episode. What is the story behind that? Why was that shirt chosen for him?

Thanks to anyone who can answer that for me.

Kie Ann

Love Kevin and Scotty scenes - bring more of them!! and Scotty and Nora. The others are dead bore.

cindy

i am a big fan, primary care physician, lymphoma survivor. I even held off on watching entourage with my husband last night. Certainly was confused about not even giving them some muscle relaxers for the whiplash, hello! But kudos for tackling a serious illness - they always come at the best possible times. So did the writers realize that Desperate Housewives gave a character Hodgkins? PLEASE give the public some education here, kitty is so smart, i know this will work into the script fine. And yes Justin needs to get a 9 to 5 job and (I imagine) take care of kitty's baby! Isn't that where you are going with this? PLEASE do not get rid of kitty! Rebecca by the way is a fine character! The other guy, go back to college, join the OC, something else!

Jenny

I love Kevin and Scotty scenes. I've taken to calling the show "Kevin and Scotty" as opposed to Brothers and Sisters. They are amazing, gosh Scotty is so freaking HOT!
FREE KEVIN!

Sylviane

Loved Kevin/Scotty, Nora/Scotty, Nora/Kitty, Kitty/Robert, and of course that last moment of Sally and Ron in the park, SO beautiful. What great actors, they moved me tears.

And Travis!!! So good to see him back, LOVE that guy. And now that we have established that Kevin is becoming a weasel like Travis, can we please have Kevin realize this too and have him QUIT HIS JOB!!!!

I mean, you no longer need KEVIN Walker to tag Robert along and keep him in the story, now that things are getting better with KITTY.

Just please, set Kevin free from this awful story-line.

On a completely different note. I actually liked Ryan this episode, he was the least boring aspect of the whole Rebecca/Holly/Ojai-thing. In a creepy way he was more fun to watch than Rebecca.

I miss Sarah!

Carolina

I loved this whole episode! Nora, Kitty, Robert, Saul, Kevin and Scotty are my favorites! I missed Sarah but the rest of the characters where fun to watch. Keep up the good work!!

Jo

Good episode! My favorite Walker is Scotty.
Luke Macfarlane looked absolutley stunning in that blue shirt!

Randi Kelley

My name is Randi Kelley, I'm a young wife, mother & cancer survivor. I like Kitty battled Lymphoma at the age of 27. Married less then 1 year it was my husband who broke the news to me that I was in fact diagnosed with cancer. I am now proud to say I am a survivor, like I know Kitty will be too!

Your show has transformed TV with its powerful storylines and here's another opportunity to do the same with Kitty's cancer journey

After my battle I discovered this amazing event that has changed my entire life - it's called ACS Relay for Life. It is guaranteed to change the Walker Family's lives too!

Relay for Life is the signature event of the American Cancer Society. It's a 24 hour walk where survivors, parents, grandparents, neighbors, children, friends, coworkers & more gathering at a field prepared to walk with their team for the next 24 hours. The day starts off with us celebrating all the survivors and doing a lap around the track just for the survivors! They are cheered on by everyone at the event and I know first hand how awesome this feels as a survivor! Then the caregivers join in and then for the next 24 hours someone from each team is on the track at all times! We camp in tents and play games, have entertainment & food, it's so much fun! When night falls we remember those we've lost with bags that are lite around the track with messages to our loved ones. It's a very somber & moving ceremony! and then the next morning we FIGHT BACK against cancer remembering that this disease never sleeps and that we didn't sleep either for the last 24 hours. We fight back for those that can no longer fight back, we vow to what we will do in our daily lives to make a difference in the fight against cancer!

I think it would be awesome for the Walker Family to embrace relay in honor of their Kitty! It would be great, the family getting prepared for their relay team, they could fight over who brought the tents or the food and then they could all come together as a family during the moving luminaria ceremony!

American Cancer Society deals with all cancers, not just one type! Relay for Life is one day. one night. one community. one fight! Cancer never sleeps and for 24 hours we won't either!

I would love to see this show up on your show!!!!

trinity yanson

kevin and scotty has the best dialogue this season so far. i love it...

Lin

I don't get why kevin and scotty need a sperm donor. why can't they just use either one of their sperms? or is that an equality issue, as in who gets to be the sperm donor?
