Season Two

Hello dear B&S fans.

Just wanted to drop a note and let you know our writers are back on the Disney lot, hatching the storylines that will keep you obsessing -- thoughtfully, of course -- about the Walker family during your free moments.  Having been in and out of the room a few times, I can tell you there is some SERIOUS watercooler fodder in the making.

To quickly answer a couple of questions I saw while sifting through the last two weeks of blog comments:

1.  The show is tentatively scheduled to return to ABC on Sunday, September 23.

2. There is no confirmed release date of the Season One DVD; however, we think it will be in August.

Glad to hear you're back. Looking forward to seeing what you guys are coming up with.

ABC announced last week the DVDs for all of their hourlong dramas; perhaps they didn't tell the production offices? According to their press release, you guys are coming out on September 18 (a few days before the 23rd.) It also says we'll see an unaired bonus episode. Can you fill us in on what this is -- I'm guessing (maybe, hopefully) the original unaired version of the pilot?

OH HOW I WISH I WAS A FLY ON THE WALL IN THE ROOM, WHERE THE TALENT WRITERS , OF BROTHERS AND SISTERS ARE COOKING UP, AND CONSPIRING JUICY PLOTS FOR THE WALKER CLAN!!!
I am anxiously looking forward to such a drama, funny, and entertaining season 2. I hope DVD is sooner that expected.

Dan, are you sure there is no date released for season 1 DVD? We (the fans) have heard reports from Disney's PR that they have the set for the DVD season 1 boxset to be released on September 18. Somehow, if your production company can persuade Disney to push that timetable back to August, more power to you guys. But that is the word out right now when the DVDs will be available for purchase and at MSRP $59.99.

Btw, welcome back all you writers. We can't wait to get...I mean...hear some new spoilers for the new season! :)

As far as the S1 DVDs, the press release says Sept. 18 is the release date. I sure hope you're right and it's going to be August. Here's a link to the press release:

I just wanted to say that I absolutely LOVE Brothers and Sisters. I did not watch during the year. But I went online and watched the first one... I was so hooked I watched the whole season in less then a week. I can't wait for next year!

Being a Film and Media Studies major I hope to one day be a part of such a great show like this one. Thank you for all your hard work on a fantastic show! Do you need any interns? :)

Wow, what a great Drama it was. I did not know much about the show until I show a preview on ABC's website.I finished the whole season in almost 24 hours. (You can imagine how addicted I got). Now, I watch each episode over and over again.

I am writing from London. I love all the characters but ofcourse Kevin, Kitty and Justin are my favourites. I wish I had such a family (excluding the step sister and mistress part!). I am realy looking forward to the next season. Good luck to the writers! Cheers!

I watched B & S from the very first episode and fell in love with all the characters. Eagerly looking forward for Season 2.

Is there a way to start Season 2 earlier than September?

Definetely the show is addictive. the background music fits perfect and it is great. I have on my cell phone the photo of the show with the must to stop me from doing what ever I am doing to watch it, I dont care if it is a re run. I just wasnt happy they sent Justin off to War- Does that mean he isnt back? He better. Each actor is just wonderful. I am just tickle that you all coming back

Oh one more thing, I am trying to guess the age and order of birth that William and Nora had, at William's death they were celebrating Kitty 38th birth day- Is kitty the oldest or is Sara? I am guesing this order, Kitty Sara-Tommy, Kevin and Justine, or kevin before Tommy,because sara said in one show that Tommy was 4 in 79 when Justin was born, not realizing it was Rebecca-What is the birth order-and will there be any memories of Julia's and tommy's wedding?

I just love the show, great writing, great cast and it is so real, my family is like them but not that dysfunctional, we fight but in the end we still love one another.
The show really demonstrate how family should be, enjoying happy times and sharing the bad times, as in one episode, it mentioned that good things are rare,enjoy it.
I hope the writers do not ruin the relationship of kitty and the senator( I love Rob Lowe in the west wing). Hope they can show that there are happy marriages and how things can work out.
Lastly, thank you for the wonderfuly show, writing and the great cast(they look so real as if they are brothers and sisters,on the show I see there are no divas)
