Thursday Photo Play, Pt. 2
Sorry it's a little late today. Busy Busy Busy.
Today is Matthew Rhys' last day of filming, and as a way of saying thank you he paid for both an ice cream truck and a coffee truck to come to set and provide delicious reward to cast and crew. We cherish him and wish him all the best as he leaves to film his new movie starring Keira Knightly and Sienna Miller.
See you next season Matt. We love you.
Set PA Todd with M Rhys at the Pizza Truck
E VanCamp and D Annable get some pizza
R Griffiths gets some mommy time in between takes
The actor's chairs for resting during down-time
Lighting set-up in the dinning room.

The Walker Foyer is taken over by the camera dept.

A look at the Walker's cluttered backyard.

Does anyone know where they filmed the outside scenes for the Grapes of Wrath episode tonight? That house was so pretty...and the set for the inside matched perfectly.

"Grapes of Wrath" is a good episode. I missed seeing Matthew Rhys enough in last week's "Bad News". As much as I think the actors and actresses all have their shining moments and scenes, Matthew stands out for me. Can't wait to see Eric Winter and Matthew Rhys together again....and see how it either sets us up for more or closes the door.
Been busy over at the closing of ioanonline (new site:
http://ioanzone.19.forumer.com/
and found out there that there is a NEW fan site and forum for Matthew Rhys. I thought some might like to come and check it out, especially with this blog being dormant soon. It is
http://matthewrhys.proboards50.com/index.cgi
If that doesn't fit here because it's too long, I'll divide it in half so at least you can see it all:

Please Sarah - don't defend him - let your family be mad - they have a right, regardless of what actually happened - he participated. Great food fight tho I wanted Norah to slather the witch with mayo - perfect for the slut sandwich that is Holly. Glad they shelved the un-proposal for now - too much to play out yet for nuptials. And really, what did Norah expect taking a cad to a family gathering? Are the Walkers destined to have crises at every family meal? No wonder the kids stay away...Wish I could have been there tho, especially for the fight. Might have armed myself with a little ketchup.

Hey Dave -
I didn't remember the song, but doing a little internets research I believe the song you must have heard was
"Buffalo Ghost" by Edie Brickell and the New Bohemians.
Must be a new album of hers..cool.

Love the show. Great eposide. But I have got to say this. Who in the world lets the woman that kissed their daughter's husband stay at the house??? I'm sorry but I draw the line right there. Yes it's Nora house and she can do whatever she wants but come on that is your daughter!!! She does not owe Rebecca anything. I feel as if she is trying to make up for her husbands mistakes. I can not even imagine something like that happening to me only to go to my mother's house and see the other woman there. Not to mention the fact that Rebeeca was egging him on. I knew there had to be more than to it than that. I could be wrong but I think she is looking to destroy that family. I think she is angry and misery loves company.

Calista nearly stole last weeks episode "Grapes of Wrath" with that one scene of Kitty drunk....
I wish the writers would give her more substantial storylines.

I love, love, love the show and the witty repartee, but was so disappointed to hear Kevin offhandedly quip, “Why’d I say that? What do I have, Tourette’s?” My brave and intelligent eight-year old son actually has Tourette Syndrome. When he was first diagnosed in 2005, we, too, misunderstood the syndrome, and thought it caused people to say whatever was on their mind. Our only context had been the misrepresentation of Tourette Syndrome on TV. In the three years since his diagnosis, we have learned so much about this complex neurobiological disorder which causes verbal, physical and mental tics, as well as rages and black and white thinking. Our son has learned to be forthright and informative when talking about his disorder, to help other people understand and accept his differences. I understand that Tourette Syndrome has been made to appear humorous in the modern media, but ask that you reconsider scripting such offhand remarks. I’m sure you would never script the line, “what am I, a retard?” or “what am I, a cripple?” The manifestations of Tourette Syndrome cause enough emotional and physical pain for its sufferers, without the added humiliation of continued misrepresentation in the media. So, please keep up the great dialogue, and maybe even add a character with Tourette Syndrome and make the world a better place by showing an accurate view of this syndrome. You can learn more at www.patsainc.org. Peace.

I need to post this on Mother's Day. This family is a great representation of the love and the flaws that are present in many families. I love the strong opionionated Nora and the vulnerable Nora as well. Although I only have three children to the Walker's five, our family bumps along in a similar fashion. Lots of arguments and lots of love. This is a great show!

I loved the final episode when the family all came toghether in the pool. How heart warming!! I have watched that about 10 times and it shows how any differences there may be family is family. It was one of the greatest shows yet. Congrats to the writers.
