This may be the longest ad of all time. We're thinking of casting this guy.

Yeah but I bet none of you forgot the name of that "mini-mall"!

Forgot to mention, if you ever do decide to hire this guy for any part of B&S, let him do a karaoke song or something. Have fun with the character and whoever this guy is.

I saw him on someone's talk show, either Ellen's or Oprah's. Will he be Robert's brother? (I think that's supposed to be funny, but maybe not . . . )
Loose Change questions:
1) How did it come about that Jason Lewis was on Ellen today? Did "her people" call Brothers and Sisters or did someone at our beloved Bro & Sis call "her people"? Just curious. Enjoyable. Anymore, guest spots with anyone else, anywhere else?
2) Does anyone want to dispel the rumor out in rumor-mill-blog land about Sally Field and Dave Annable? If the rumor is true, I'm going to start feeling good again about being my age.
3)What time does the day start on set?
4) Who is the best dancer in the cast? on the writing staff? on the crew?
5)What's the craziest thing that happened last week?
6)What makes Robbie happy?

You should definitely hire him. Have him be a secret admirer of Sarah's. ;)

I'm hoping he is cast as McCallister's gay brother. Let's find out how good Matthew Rhys really is.

I'm shocked! Casting this guy would break the hegemony of characters that are white & wealthy.
I love the show. But, frankly, the lack of color is its weakness. The show did touch on issues of class, albeit briefly w/ Scotty. But despite the show's highmindedness, it remains as white as the vast majority of programming on TV.
Moderator: Please keep this comment. It is an honest critique of a show that I truly do love.

When I suggested that B&S throw a little "color" into the mix & have Kevin date bi-racially, this is not what I had in mind. Don't cast him in that role.
"Just like a mini-mall" guy has that Rev. Sharpton-Jesse Jackson appeal. Mixed with smooth mid-'60's Motown. I'm kind of digging it. At least he seems comfortable doing what he's doing. Sneer at your own peril.

Who gets paid to scrounge around for obscure youtube clips & check out TMZ all day? You guys are like a bunch of ennui-ridden teenage brats in a Brett Easton Ellis novel, playing Playstation 3 & not watching the porn that's streaming in the background.

Um, wow. You really should cast him, and if he wrote that amazing rap(???) himself, you should hire him as a staff writer too. Inspiring, indeed. :)
