We’re baaaackkk…

Hey Elmoians!

Sorry for the very long wait for this next blog entry. (Are you guys still out there? Is this thing on?) I wanted to make triple sure that the info I was giving you for all our next air dates was pretty much air-tight. So here goes:

We will start RE RUNS on June 28th (not the 21st as earlier reported) at 10 pm (Thursdays after Greys Anatomy). You will get to see almost all of your old favorites, starting from the beginning, Thursday nights, all summer. There are one or two that will not air because we don’t have enough time over the summer to squeeze them all in. So, set your Tivos. Have a party. Invite your friends who never got to see our first 16 episodes. Eat. Laugh. Do all those things. Then…buckle your seat belts.

SEASON TWO will start airing FRIDAY NIGHTS at the end of September or beginning of October. This is the one date that they have not released yet—but stay tuned, we will have it well in advance of our premiere.

We started back in the writer’s room last week, and have been having a great time breaking stories for this next season. It is nice to know we have those five episodes we shot last year “banked” for the beginning of this season, because I have to say, I think they are our best episodes so far. And, of course, it’s nice to feel you have already accomplished something when you are staring at a blank, big, daunting white dry erase board . Joining us this year in the writer’s room are David Rosenthal (he ran Gilmore Girls last year and wears lovely shirts), Jennie Snyder (also from Gilmore Girls, her talent, aside from writing, is being able to sleep anywhere at any time) and Mike Kramer (all-around funny guy and very good poker player). Everything is looking peachy for second season. We even moved offices so now we can stare at the Ugly Betty offices and marvel at their number of parking spaces. To be clear, we didn’t move for that reason…it is just an added bonus.

Now that we are up and running after our much-needed hiatus, I will be back to blogging on a regular basis. Please come back often, and, as always, leave a comment. But only good comments. We only have 3 parking spaces and our egos can’t handle it.

Yey...ever since the show first aired in Norway I have been checking out this page, hoping for season two to air in USA, because then it will eventually come to Norway as well :) (And it need to come to Norway, because I love this show ;))

I just really like the characters and I for one thinks bringing Lynn back in was just the right thing to do :)It made everything a little more fun:) Hopefully your office will be one with more than three parking spaces for season three :-D (and hopefully my post does not contain to many mistakes, so all of you will be able to read it).

thank goodness you're coming back. This is the best show on television and I love the fact that it's all about man/woman relationships, the bond between friends, and above all, LOVE. It's so refreshing to have a primetime show tht doesn't burden us with dead bodies, heads in dumpsters, missing children and other horrors. Good luck in the new season, and I can't wait to tape all the episodes over the summer. Missed you guys.

We are so glad to hear that!!!! We were really started to get nauseous not hearing MIT updates. My sister and I live States away from eachother and we report to eachother and give MIT e-mails on what is going on. You are our live wire with this process. Thank you for the updates.

I won't hold my breath as so far we have not been treated too fabulous as fans by ABC. However, I am so glad the possibility of MIT returning is still in the works. I love the show so much and did not miss a single episode. I will watch them again with eager anticipation of things to come.

I am so happy to here that MIT will be coming back. I LOVE the show. I am a stay at home mom that has to watch cartoons all day! It will be nice to get to watch my show at night again, when the kids go to bed! I can't wait until the new season starts:) I guess the reruns will have to do for now!

That sound you hear is the collective sigh of relief and shouts of JOY from Felmonians everywhere!!!! The lllloooonnnngggg wait is almost over! Only 8 more sleeps til we get to reaquaint ourselves with the best show on tv. You truly have been missed.

Also would you please post more detailed info on how to subscribe to the blogs feed. What program(s) do you need to run it? My computer just says unknown file type and suggests searching internet for program to run it - I'm not going to download from just anywhere without knowing what will work. I know others have mentioned this same problem, Thanks for any help you can provide.

Yea!!! I'm so happy to read that MIT will be back. Even watching the reruns again will be enjoyable. The characters are interesting, some a little more than others, but they work so well together. I'm counting the days till the new season!

Hi Jenny,

I must admit I was one of the fans that was very ticked off at ABC for their poor judgement and treatment of MIT. I am now satisfied and happy with their decision to give the show the attention it deserves. It does not matter to me what night the show will air as long as it returns. One last thing Men in trees is a heck of a lot more interesting than Greys Anatomy or any of those ridiculous reality shows.
