Checking in with Matt and Shayne
Hey, I've been curious about these guys. Here's Matt and Shayne from this past season's The Bachelor. I don't know if I'm in love with the new short haircut, but nobody's asking me.
We watch a little retrospective of their relationship. Watching the final rose ceremony brings tears to Shayne's eyes.
Since the show ended, they've become engaged and now Matt is living in Los Angeles with Shayne. They put to rest some rumours - yes, they are still a couple. No, Matt did not propose to her in order to get a green card. As Matt points out, there are easier ways to secure a green card. Good point.
I don't know, they seem pretty happy together. Chris is right, they do act like an old married couple.
She barely smiled when they showed them...he was grinning ear to ear. It will never last. She will dump him.

Didn't watch that Bachelor show (they don't have a good record) -- glad I didn't. She looks like a bimbo. Sort of like Prince Charles and the Bimbo he's married to now.

Just tuned in to see the update for Matt and Shayne. I loved them together from the beginning and they look really happy. That was the best season. Best wishes to them and it's good to see that they laugh at the rumors...

hmmm..since this is ABCs blog I doubt you'll reveal which country Matt referred to in his segment when he said "it's not like I'm from XXXX... the United Kingdom is a GREAT country". What a tool.

I think Shayne is so cute and sweet. I'm glad Matt chose her- she seems sincere and really in love with him.

Shayne's totally in this for the fame. She wants to be an actress, and this is her foot in the door. They will never get married. She is as bright as a small appliance bulb. (Then again, I question his overall smarts, too.)

Oh, absolutely not. They will never make it. There was so much tension between them. Whoever cited body language wasn't seeing what I saw -- Shayne hardly ever looked at him, and he had his arm around her but she had her arms and hands on HERSELF. Remember how in love with him she was? It wasn't there AT ALL tonite. Oh, no way is this going all the way. She's already disenchanted. You could read it all over her. Even Matt seemed a bit deflated. Didn't you just love it when Shayne said, "Oh I think we'll do some traveling ..." and Matt looked like he was hearing this for the first time. These two are not communicating. They're not going to make it. By the end of this show, she was rapping him on the head for something. I have no idea what you guys saw, but i absolutely did not see a couple in love. They're DOOMED, I tell you. Mark my words.

The host asked the couple..."So what are your plans?..(for example when's the wedding?) There was an awkward silence. Shayne in the dippiest voice ever says...Probably some traveling. Matt looked terribly surprised by that answer as if he doesn't have a clue. Poor thing by the end of this week she'll probably be dating one of her friends that he so freely allows her to hang out with. What's up with this couple

Oh My GOSH all the haters in the house just stood up. It seems when two georgous people get together everyone wants to tear them down because they do not react how everyone thinks they should. Shane did cry as she watched the clip or was anyone really watching
