A look at Jason and Jesse

Next week, it's coming down to the last two guys:  Jesse the laid-back snowboarder from Colorado, or Jason the sensitive single dad from Seattle?  They're both falling in love with her.

I like how Jesse calls her "Dee."  He's totally up for marrying her.  But so is Jason, he thinks she can complete his family and is ready to go.

Next week - the season finale of The Bachelorette.  Both Jesse and Jason visit DeAnna's parents - but at the same time???  Awkward.  It looks like Jesse gets a haircut as well - but will it be enough?

Even though I love both Jessie and Jason I have to say my vote goes to Jason. Jessie is still really young and seems a bit lost in his future. He needs to discover who he is and maybe experience other relationships on a severe level. Jason on the other hand knows who he is and what he wants. I think both Jesse and Jason both really care about her - I think the most important thing was said from the beginning-she and Jesse started out as friends-and their relationship developed. It is amazing that people fall in love in just 6 weeks, so having a friend connection is really something a person can count on. you can see the honesty is Jesse's face and see that he is truly genuine. I am glad we got to see both sides of his personality. I am anxious to see how this goes. I can see the pros and cons of both guys.

Last week, Jesse wasn't ready for marriage. This week he is. He obviously is still confused. I think, no matter how much he may truly care for DeAnna, he isn't ready for the type of relationship that DeAnna is. To be honest I have not watched this show since Trista & Ryan. I have been hooked from the start. Each week I am more confused as to DeAnna's decision making. First she lets Graham go..and now Jeremy.
After watching the Men Tell all Episode...she and Graham still have a connection...

I am a huge Jason fan, but Jesse's really grown on me too. I was so surprised to see her dump Jeremy though that I started crying! He just really seemed so sincere and he's a great guy. The more I watched the show though, the more I realized how self-centered DeAnna is (unless that's just what tv editing makes us believe). I do wish her and whoever she's engaged to the best of luck though. But to all the guys that loved and lost, remember there's a lot more fish out in the sea there. Deanna, to much drama girl! You are dealing with men, not women. Graham is a perfect example of that, pay attention to their actions not all the smack! I don't think she's in love with Graham. I think she was in "lust" for Graham. It was totally a physical relationship and nothing else. They had to much friction to have anything but a physical relationship. they couldn't even carry on a deep conversation... Graham acts like he's still in the 7th grade.

I AM DEVASTATED for Jeremy. With that being said, I completely understand what DeAnna said about her reasoning. Wanting someone to be perfect and someone actually being perfect for you are two different things. Jeremy is a fantastic human being that deserves someone who will love him as much as he loves her. I really think that DeAnna's final three were great choices, and any of them will make a good husband for her. I found myself falling in love with all three of them as more was learned about them. I think all of them are great and deserve true love. It's rare to see so many quality men in one gathering.

DeAnna said she was in love and engaged and happy; then why did she show so much anger to some of the men tonight; they weren't saying anything bad about her. I'm not sure what DeAnna is really looking for...true love or a TV contract, or just a man she can control. She doesn't want to live in Colorado and wants Jessie to give up his snowboarding; why would she ask him to do that if she truly loved him. One of these guys is really going to be crushed and I think DeAnna is just as heartless as Brad. She was somewhat ok to Jeremy tonight, but yet was still angry with Graham. Both of these guys showed her a lot of respect tonight, which they didn't get from her. I almost think they are the lucky ones now, not to be chosen, and yet Graham and her still had chemistry...she blew it!

I was a bit surprised about Jesse and, then again, not. He seems to be saying all the right things now and I really love him, but I'm still not sure he's ready for marriage right now. Just last week he said he didn't want to get married and have kids right away and this week he did. I think I'm getting that right. So, I love him, but I'm not sure he's the right guy for DeAnna.

Jason is my number one and has been since day one (Jeremy was my second choice), so I'm really rooting for him. I think DeAnna has finally seen what a great guy he is and how much potential he has. I really hope he is the last guy standing.

As for the joint parent thing, it's probably so they can see who can stand up under pressure, as well as who will answer the tough questions, even though the competition is in the room.

DeAnna looked happy tonight. She was glowing. Who ever she picked has stolen her heart - and I don't think I have ever seen a Bachelorette as happy as she was tonight. This might sound pathetic but I am furious over DeAnna leading Jeremy on. I hope he can take home something great from this. He looked obviously hurt. I think DeAnna is a terrific girl. Everyone has flaws... but when we see them we shouldn't go and wish the worst on them. I, personally, enjoy her wisdom, her honesty and most of all, her self-awareness. She's a remarkable gal.

I remember seeing DeAnna on some abc.com special where they ran this moch-dating game show; it was amuzing and it was after she had finished filming, after her final decision. The host of the show said something to the effect of, "What advise would you give to all the bachelors out there looking for their true-love?" And DeAnna said, in no uncertain terms, "Just be yourself." At that point I had seen one, maybe two episodes. The way she said it made me taker a closer look at Jesse early on... and there is definetly somethings(s) about Jesse that are major turn-ons for DeAnna, most of all they click and make each other laugh. He's very wise and incredibly self-disciplined. Finally, I find Jesse, though 26, never married, growing up just like DeAnna (also 26), to be incredibly self-aware and as internally motivated as DeAnna.

I think these two can DREAM together and I think these two are solid enough, as people, to make their most precious dreams come true.

I meant to add this about Jeremy in my earlier post: I've always liked him (even when I didn't always agree with his methods) and he was my second choice for DeAnna, so, my heart absolutely broke for him tonight. You could tell he didn't see it coming, at all.

He finally put himself out there for the first time since his mom died and it was devastating for him to realize the person he was there with wasn't in the same place as him. What a sucker-punch to the gut.

He's taken a lot of flack throughout the show, but I respect him for being honest (even if I don't always agree) and still being honest and respectful to DeAnna in the men's episode.

I sincerely wish the best for him. I hope he doesn't close out the world again because of this; I hope he finds a great woman and lets her in to his heart. I think we've all seen he has one and he's rediscovered its ability to love, thanks to this show. May you find happiness Jeremy.

Jesse may not be what most of you like, and I thought he was out there from the first episode, but he's grown on me. He's genuine. Jeremy (who I know most of you like) is too perfect. There's something wrong with him. He may have thought he was in love with her, but the other men are right - he was there to win because that's what he does with the rest of his life. He's driven and has to be first at everything. I don't know when he took the bar exam, but the fact that he still had his study notes up ("and this is just what I didn't know...") seemed suspicious. He's a little too "perfect". Jason seems pretty nice, but the smile he's got pasted on his face also seems a little too fake. Maybe it's just that he's nervous. I believe he truly loves his son though, but not sure he's got room in his life for an adult. She should've just gone with Graham. None of these (with the exception of Trista and Ryan and Byron and Mary) has worked out anyway. She should've just taken a chance with Graham. Now he should be the next bachelor. Forget Jeremy - he's too creepy.

I hope whoever she chooses she will find true happiness. Jason just seems like the more stable of the two. And Jeremy is great and great relationships do start with friendships. Soooooooo....I'm not guessing who it might be because I am always wrong.

Jesse deserves credit for being the most interesting person on the show, and possibly the most real. However, I'm actually betting on Jason, 'cause she said she just got engaged. If she'd chosen Jesse, they could have gotten engaged right away, but with Jason they'd have to see if it was good for Ty.

I hope Jeremy is brought back to be the next "Bachelor"! American women want him in our lives via this show. He may not have been perfect for "OCD" (Obsessive Compulsive Diona), but we want to see him find love..what a great guy. OCD does not deserve Jeremy, Jason or Graham. It appears that Jason has been divorced a short time and that bothers me about him. But It think he and Jessie are too good for Deanna. She has some type of personality disorder that includes selfishness and too many histrionics. I don't think she will last in a first marriage. She is too needy and too demanding

I don't believe either of these two guys make the perfect choice for her. Jason is wonderful but his son will always be first in his life (and rightfully so)and DeAnna won't like it. Jesse may not be what most of you like, and I thought he was out there from the first episode, but he's grown on me. He's genuine. Jeremy (who I know most of you like) is too perfect. There's something wrong with him. He may have thought he was in love with her, but the other men are right - he was there to win because that's what he does with the rest of his life. He's driven and has to be first at everything. I don't know when he took the bar exam, but the fact that he still had his study notes up ("and this is just what I didn't know...") seemed suspicious. He's a little too "perfect". Jason seems pretty nice, but the smile he's got pasted on his face also seems a little too fake. Maybe it's just that he's nervous. I believe he truly loves his son though, but not sure he's got room in his life for an adult. She should've just gone with Graham. None of these (with the exception of Trista and Ryan and Byron and Mary) has worked out anyway. She should've just taken a chance with Graham. Now he should be the next bachelor. Forget Jeremy - he's too creepy.

I meant to add this about Jeremy in my earlier post: I've always liked him (even when I didn't always agree with his methods) and he was my second choice for DeAnna, so, my heart absolutely broke for him tonight. You could tell he didn't see it coming, at all.

He finally put himself out there for the first time since his mom died and it was devastating for him to realize the person he was there with wasn't in the same place as him. What a sucker-punch to the gut.

He's taken a lot of flack throughout the show, but I respect him for being honest (even if I don't always agree) and still being honest and respectful to DeAnna in the men's episode.

I sincerely wish the best for him. I hope he doesn't close out the world again because of this; I hope he finds a great woman and lets her in to his heart. I think we've all seen he has one and he's rediscovered its ability to love, thanks to this show. May you find happiness Jeremy.

Also, after seeing Jason comfort her when she reject both Robert and Fred, I thought this would be just the kind of strength and warmth any woman could appreciate when they need support. I don't watch every season, but I have been watching this season. I think she was really in it for the right reasons, and this is the first time I have ever been to the final three in one of these shows and thought "I love all three of these people as options." I really think all three of these guys are stellar, wonderful, funny, kind, intelligent, caring people...I have known for weeks that Jeremy was going home. I always felt like there was a big "but" every time that Deanna said that Jeremy was perfect. She didn't feel it in her gut, but there was no real reason to send him home because he was everything she wanted on paper. She wanted very badly to fall in love with him because of her preconceived notions and everything was right with him, but that isn't how love works...you can't force it like that. I really do feel terrible for Jeremy--he had no idea, and that is the worst part of shows like this one. I really hope he finds someone else eventually and manages to open up to someone again. I don't want him to be on The Bachelor, because I think it would hurt him too much and he wouldn't be comfortable put in that same situation.

I love both Jason and Jesse--people have to remember it is all in editing. Deanna says it is important to be friends first with Jesse, but I feel she also built up a friendship to a romantic with relationship with Jesse. She has said that she needs someone who makes her laugh, and both of them do. She obviously shares physical chemistry for both of them. Both of the guys have expressed interest in getting married...all Jesse said is he wanted to be sure before he opened up, but he is the kind of guy who once he figures something out, he goes for it.

Jesse detractors: People say Jesse is immature. He seems like one of the most mature people on the show to me. His approach to start a relationship based in friendship is absolutely key. He is asking Deanna specific questions about her plans for life and telling her his dreams and trying to figure out how their dreams would fit together. He's committed. Also, obviously they have strong physical chemistry and he just waited to make her kiss extra special.

Jason detractors: Jason isn't too good for Deanna, or she wouldn't have recognized him and picked out his worth. She obviously values him very much, and she didn't do the crummy thing and send him home. He isn't wimpy--he's strong about his opinions and stating what he thinks and believes, and he is also into stereotypically "manly" things like sports. He also isn't afraid to ask her questions about herself.

I hope DeAnna made the right choice. But I can't see it working with either Jesse or Jason. For starters, Jesse doesn't seem ready for marriage and expressed that to his Dad in last week's episode. And although Jason seems sincere and little Ty is just precious, she could be in for baby mama drama. I dated a divorcee who had custody of his twin boys. The Mom left the marriage and didn't give a flip about the boys until she found out I was in the picture. All of the sudden, the twins who once loved me, hated me. One of the twins said their Mom told them I was keeping her from getting back with their Dad. She called my house in the middle of the night from his home and created all sorts of problems. Needless to say, the relationship ended. Hope that's not the case for DeAnna. But...I still think DeAnna made an incredibly poor decision to send Jeremy packing. Jeremy needs to be the next bachelor.

I think the show has done an awesome job of including some really great guys. I'm rooting for Jesse. He has shown himself to be a very solid, caring person and a great communicator. He has some career decisions to make, but seems to have the maturity to choose well. I took note of Deanna's comment that she couldn't imagine not having Jesse in her life. I also noticed the rose ceremony clips and am suspicious - they never give away the ending! Jason is a great guy, but Deanna and Jesse seem to share a very similar, adventurous outlook on life. To me they seem to have the most in common and the best chance of sharing a life when the drama is over.

I really respect DeAnna for her honesty and dedication to making the right choice for herself. I can't imagine how hard this process is. You can really tell that she is serious and thinking about everyone. I disagree that she was leading Jeremy on. I believe she really was getting the connection they had over losing a parent confused with love. Finding someone you connect with about a painful experience is not the same as a love and respect that will last and I think that with Graham out of the picture, it allowed her to open up to Jason, who I thought was the one for her from the beginning. Once she was able to really open her heart up, I think she saw things much more clearly. Graham probably did have true feelings for DeAnna as did Jeremy, but Graham wasn't ready for the relationship DeAnna is looking for and though there was a bond with Jeremy, I don't think it was the love she was looking for. DeAnna is a smart girl and unless the show has done a fabulous job of editing to make Jesse look young and immature, then I know she choose Jason. She is serious about what she wants and Jesse doesn't seem to be ready for that yet. Go Jason!!

Jeremy seemed like a nice guy but was kinda wimpy. He was to serious all the time. Then when he should be serious in telling her he loves her he is cracking up. It has got to be Jason..Heres why, when they were on the home town dates and he had to say good bye to his son everyone was in tears Deanna included. No way she keeps him from his kid if she isn't feeling something. Even to go meet his son in the first place must have been hard. If Jason isn't the guy then she is a very self centered and shallow person to keep him away from his son. I like Jesse but Jason is my pick to win Deanna's heart.
Graham has my vote for the next Bachelor. I would watch just to see him w/o a shirt.

I hope she picks Jason, I saw it in both of their eyes when he first walked out of the limo. and he was the one I picked off the bat. everytime they get together I cry. only cause i feel it in my heart that they will end up together, I will never watch bachelor again if it isnt jason. I think they both are perfect for each other. and you know that he is deeply in love with her. I vote for Jeremy as the next Bachelor! In the beginning, I was put off by his arrogance like everyone else, but he has revealed a genuinely kind side. He may have thought that his value was related to success, when in fact it's his heart that's worth its weight in gold. I suspect he's learned something of himself, and it would be a kick to see him not competing for attention, but allowing 25 women to compete for him! Then he'll be saying, "DeAnna who?" Well if it were me, I would definetly pick Jesse. He is down to earth, funny, sweet, genuine, and one of a kind. He started out a little scared but now he has his whole heart in it. I just dont want to see him going home with a broken heart if she doesnt pick him. Shoot, he should call me if it doesnt work out with DeAnna, lol! Jason and her are cute together too, but I love my man Jesse. Either way, I think she'll be very happy. Jeremy was just way too serious and kinda boring. OK, well Jesse has a future to plan with Deanna but Jason has a ready made family. Is Deanna ready to be a stepmom and play second in a 31 year old mans life and she is 26. I don't know what show some of you have been watching but wow!! Some of you have been way to harsh on Deanna. She came to the show looking for love. She has been very clear as to what she wants. Graham did not communicate at all and "he will open up eventually" what kind of trash is that? Eventually is not soon enough for someone that has goals in life and wants to raise a family NOT a husband. Deanna is a girl who knows what she wants and goes for it. Yes, she did have a connection with Graham, but even my husband said she would be crazy is she didn't see his cocky posessive attitude. She would be in for a life of confusion, heartache, and misery.
As for Jesse, I like him but he is a playboy. I think the thoughts of settling down and having a family scares him to death. What did he tell his father on the home visit episode? He is NOT ready. Then when he asked her about kids, he looked worried. I think he is not ready for marriage let alone children.
Letting Jeremy go was a shock. I thought he would be in Jesse's shoes right now. However, I don't think HE was right for her either. He was almost TOO perfect. There was something very phony about him. He didn't have the fun personality that she needs. He didn't make her laugh like the other two. THAT is very important in a relationship. Jeremy was to serious and a neat freak. How would he feel about children messing up that perfect house? His job seemed more inportant than a family. On the home visit episode he even said that was the first time he had his own family over for dinner. That is not a family man at all. Deanna would have raised her kids on her own. I think his house was so clean because he was never there.
Now Jason has had my vote from day 1. He is the kind of guy Deanna needs. He has a career, She knows what kind of a father he would be, He's fun, he's romantic and he would be there for her. Look how he was on the episode where she let Robert and Fred go. He could have totally played that up to the other guys, but he didn't. They would be able to communicate, laugh, cry and have a wonderful life TOGETHER!! Deanna and Jason have alot more in common that Deanna and Jesse. Remember, This is her choice and what is right for her.
There is nothing wrong with being a Step Mother. You can love a step child or even an adopted child just like your own. She has the love to give TY. That little boy deserves all the love he can get. I give her major props if she chooses to be his step mother. Any fool can get pregnanat and have a child of their own and still not love it. It takes a very special person to be a step parent. Good luck Deanna!! I know you will make the right decision for YOU!!!

I to am heartbroken for Jeremy. He definitely should be the next bachelor. I get the impression that DeAnna wanted all the guys to fall for her so she could dump them...I felt so bad for Jeremy because he had his heart wide open. I wonder did she sleep with all three of those guys...sleazy if she did.

I think I can understand why she is down to these two men. Jeremy was and is great. I think he is honest and would make the right woman a great husband. But, the important thing about love is that it is not "perfect" it is a feeling and if not reciprocated makes you feel small and second guess yourself everytime you put your heart out there. I am glad for Jeremy that she let him go if she does not feel honestly "in love" or that she would "ever be in love" ...that is hard but it is better now then later when more feelings would be invested.
Jessie is super. He has energy and is "like a kid" but seems really giddy, that is a powerful feeling to have a man feel like that for you..it brings alot of energy to you and you can vibe off of it. I don't think anyone mentioned the family visits, but one thing I remembered was when they met the families, I loved Jessie's parent's and they were the nicest people...two good people proud of an only child ...that was touching and they were something to remember in my opinion. If there is ever a problem, if these two do get together, there is an excellent backbone of support here..they are down to earth and nice, and Jessie learned these values from them...I think about that stuff because I love my husbands family and they are always there for us.
Now for Jason, he is my pick, with or without a son. He is energetic, honest and seem ready. Not only that, his family is honest and close. They support him. He travels and he has already built a strong foundation for his son while he is away and leaves him in loving families hands....he is looking for a woman who will be there for the long haul...If Deanna fits with him...it will work. They can manage time away and privacy as he has already set this in place. He will be a good person for her....in the end it comes down to longevity and physical chemistry...she has to "feel it" that is the honest thing to do...!
It will be up to Deanna as she is the only one who knows "inside" who she has the feeling for that will last.
Good luck and don't listen to the negative Deanna. People are always out there to bash someone. Don't listen "go with your heart"...
